Happy 2008! I love the turn of the calendar, and all the hope that a new year brings. I'm looking forward to the completion of my next novel and finishing my coursework for my Masters in Creative Writing. Yes, I know, it's a little horse after the cart, but I'm having an excellent time and I love the academic environment. Plus, I consider myself a lifelong learner, and being around literary folks (past and present) has reinvigorated my craft and challenged me in new ways.
