"I wanted to thank you again for Potter Springs and for your kind words of encouragement after the Writer's League Conference.  And as I write my second novel...I also think about your wise words about revision in your workshop.  Somehow, your calm demeanor and sense of humor - all these elements combine to create a more solid sense of validation inside.  I am a writer.  It is all right.  I'm doing what I need to do.  These stories do need to be told." - A.G in Austin

"Thank you for making our Book and Author luncheon an enjoyable success last Friday. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with you and to hear about your writing experience. We hope Potter Springs is a great success and  look forward to the next book.” .C., For the Friends of the Arlington Public Library fundraising event

”Your session on rewriting was not only entertaining and useful, but inspirational as well. I think everyone who heard you speak left feeling cheered and bolstered by your encouraging words -- thank you for that." - B.B. in Austin

"I just wanted to drop you a line and thank-you personally for your wonderful presentation.  It was outrageous (a good thing); motivating, inspiring, and educational.  I know I speak for others too, as I overheard lots of buzz." - C.O. from Round Rock

“I attended your session at the conference on Writing Mainstream Fiction.  I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated what you said about writing being a career.  So many times, when I sit in my corner pecking away and my husband wonders why the dust bunnies turned into dust giraffes, I wonder if what I'm doing counts as a real job.  Thanks to you I can say yes.” - M.P. from Oklahoma City

"You absolutely captured our hearts.  You gave us such simple and valuable tools for documenting our lives, our faith, our family treasured memories and our frustrations.  THANK YOU!" - M.D. from Waco

"Meeting you in Weatherford was a delight - and also great encouragement. You present a wonderful, relaxed workshop, and you're an inspiration." - N.C. from Weatherford

"Our book club enjoyed it and found it to be a real page-turner--unlike some we have had. Everyone enthusiastically agreed that we will be hearing more from you in literary circles and we were glad to have had you speak with us. You made the publishing world much more real and intriguing." - N.H. from Sugarland

"Thanks for visiting and spending time with our book club. You are a lovely, bright young woman and it was a delight to listen to the account of your creative process bearing fruit - the inspirations, the perseverance and the lucky breaks!" - R.P. from Sugarland

"I just wanted to thank you for your workshop on Sunday morning.  That was one of the best events of the weekend for me!  I like that we actually did writing and that you were very specific in your examples." - T.C. in Austin

"You were such a wonderful addition to our Books on the Bosque event here in Clifton. We hope that you will consider participating in the future...I will look for you on Oprah!" - K.L. from Clifton
